AB Our article noted that this combination could cause severe hyponatraemia (Collier JG, Webb DJ. Postgrad Med J 1987; 63: 1105–06). This is probably true but the report we cited concerned the combination of enalapril and bendrofluazide. Our conclusion is unaltered.
