AB  - Last year nabumetone (Relifex - Bencard) was introduced for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and osteoarthritis (OA). It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which, like several other NSAIDs, is claimed to have the advantage over other NSAIDs of a lower risk of gastric mucosal irritation. Does the clinical evidence support this claim?
