AB Relevant BNF sections: 6.5.1, 6.7.1, 8.3.4.1Around one in six couples wishing to have children have problems conceiving, and in a fifth of these, the cause is identified as an ovulatory disorder.1 Here we describe the management of women with infertility who present in general practice with amenorrhoea or oligomenorrhoea, often the first indication of possible anovulatory infertility.
