For many patients this affects the scalp. Particular challenges in managing scalp psoriasis include choosing an appropriate treatment option, difficulties of applying topical treatments and deciding how to treat severe disease. Moreover, there is a lack of good-quality evidence on which to base treatment decisions. Here, we offer some practical advice, taking into account the available evidence.
