AB Cervical spondylosis is a degeneration of the intervertebral discs of the neck with changes in surrounding joints and ligaments.1 Minor radiological changes are common, but serious symptoms are not. Mechanical stresses on joints and ligaments may cause local pain in the neck and occiput; distant motor and sensory symptoms may arise from root or cord compression.
