Disopyramide (rythmodan) for arrhythmias?

Abstract

Disopyramide (Rythmodan - Roussel) is an anti-arrhythmic drug for oral use which is being promoted as a ‘new cardio-specific for myocardial conduction control’ suitable for all types of rapid arrhythmia. It was first shown to be active in animals in 1962.1
