Vasodilators for heart failure

Abstract

For most patients with heart failure therapy usually involves the use of a diuretic, sometimes digoxin,1 and occasionally a sympathomimetic.2 In some patients symptoms will still persist and in this article we review a fourth approach - the vasodilators.
