What should the doctor carry in the case?

Abstract

What is in the general practitioner’s ‘black bag’ is a very individual matter. The contents reflect the style of the doctor’s practice and the type of area served and are a compromise between provision for any eventuality and the need to keep the bag down to a convenient size. The contents can be classified as diagnostic, therapeutic and administrative (forms, notepaper etc.).
