In Britain carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning causes over 1000 deaths a year. It accounts for one third of all deaths by poisoning and is the main cause of such deaths in children. An earlier article considered how to prevent accidental poisoning in the home.¹ Now we discuss some aspects of management.
