Should people with high blood pressure avoid sodium?

Abstract

Several studies have shown that lowering blood pressure with drugs can reduce the risk of stroke and possibly heart attack. Since all antihypertensive drugs have unwanted effects any non-pharmacological ways of lowering blood pressure merit serious consideration.
