Abstract

There are few clear-cut indications for simultaneous treatment with the two antibiotics, and for these indications, the fixed-ratio combinations are likely to be either inadequately effective or hazardous. Penicillin-streptomycin combinations offered by major pharmaceutical houses include Crystamycin and Seclomycin (Glaxo), and Distavone and Soluvone (Dista Products).
