A programme designed to improve adherence to antidepressant medications has been tested in a new study in the US.1 The randomised trial assessed the effectiveness of the Treatment Initiation and Participation Program (TIP), a psychosocial intervention for older patients who have recently been prescribed an antidepressant for depression.
