Midrid for migraine?

Abstract

Midrid capsules, recently introduced and promoted for the treatment of migraine, contain isometheptene mucate 65 mg, dichloralphenazone 100 mg and paracetamol 325 mg. Isometheptene is a sympathomimetic aliphatic amine, said to constrict cerebral and cutaneous vessels, but very little seems to be known about its pharmacology, alone or in a drug mixture.
