Abstract

Ibufenac (4-isobutylphenylacetic acid, Dytransin - Boots) is the result of a search for an effective analgesic which can be used regularly in treating chronic rheumatic disorders without causing gastro-intestinal upset, in other words a non-irritating aspirin substitute.
