Combinations of analgesics with amphetamines

Abstract

Many combinations of analgesic drugs (acetylsalicylic acid, phenacetin, salicylamide, acetaminophen) and amphetamines are promoted for the relief of common painful conditions such as dysmenorrhoea, tension headache, and rheumatic disorders. An example is Daprisal (SKF), which contains aspirin, phenacetin, dexamphetamine, and amylobarbitone as well.
