Sylvasun (Chefaro Proprietaries*) is widely promoted to the general public in Britain, Australia and South Africa with the claim that it helps to prevent sunburn by ‘speeding up the skin’s own natural resistance’. Each tablet contains 25,000 i.u. vitamin A and 115 mg calcium carbonate.
