Anti-human lymphocyte globulin: pressimmune

Abstract

Immune responses ultimately depend on lymphocytes. They are essential for the recognition of substances as being foreign and give rise to antibody-producing plasma cells, and to the specifically sensitised cells of the cell-mediated reaction. Lymphocytes are also responsible for the capacity to react more rapidly and with greater amplitude on subsequent exposure to an antigen.
